We want you to love your Shred Shades. If something's not right, we'll make it right.
30-Day Return Policy
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return your unworn Shred Shades for a full refund.
What Qualifies for a Return
- Item is unworn and unused
- Item is in original condition
- Item is in original packaging (pouch, case, etc.)
- All accessories included
- Within 30 days of delivery date
What Does NOT Qualify
- Worn or used sunglasses
- Scratched or damaged from use
- Returned without original packaging
- More than 30 days from delivery
- Items marked "final sale" at time of purchase
How to Start a Return
- Email us at support@shredshades.com within 30 days of delivery
- Include:
- Your order number
- Reason for return
- Photo of the item (showing it's unworn)
- We'll respond within 48 hours with a return shipping label
- Pack the item securely with original packaging
- Drop off at any USPS location
- Refund issued within 5-7 business days of us receiving your return
Refund Details
How You'll Be Refunded
- Refunds go back to the original payment method
- Credit/debit cards: 5-10 business days to appear (depends on your bank)
- PayPal: 1-3 business days
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable
- Return shipping is FREE for defective items
- Return shipping is $7.95 for "change of mind" returns (deducted from your refund)
Partial Refunds
In rare cases, we may issue a partial refund if:
- Item shows minor signs of wear
- Original packaging is damaged
- Accessories are missing
We'll always communicate this with you before processing.
Exchanges
Want to swap for a different style or color?
- Email us at support@shredshades.com
- Tell us which style/color you want instead
- We'll send a return label
- Once we receive your return, we ship the new pair
- Free exchange shipping (we cover both ways)
Exchanges are processed within 3-5 business days of receiving your return.
Damaged or Defective Items
Got the wrong item or it arrived damaged? That's on us.
- Email support@shredshades.com within 7 days of delivery
- Include photos of the issue
- We'll send a replacement immediately — no need to return the original
- We cover all shipping costs

Lost or Damaged in Transit
If your package arrives damaged or doesn't arrive at all:
- Email support@shredshades.com
- Include photos if package is damaged
- We'll either send a replacement or issue a full refund
- Lost packages are investigated with the carrier first (usually 5-7 days)
What If My Pair is Lost or Broken From Use?

Final Sale Items
Some items are marked as final sale at the time of purchase, including:
- Clearance items
- Last-chance colorways
- Bundle deals over 30% off
- Items purchased with promotional codes that exceed 30% off
Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. We'll always note this clearly on the product page before purchase.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you offer free returns?
Free returns for defective items, wrong items, or damaged shipments. For "change of mind" returns, $7.95 return shipping is deducted from your refund.
Q: Can I return a worn pair?
No, only unworn pairs in original condition. If you've worn them and they have a defect, see our Warranty page.
Q: How long does a refund take?
5-7 business days from when we receive your return for processing, then 5-10 business days for it to appear on your card.
Q: Can I cancel my order before it ships?
Yes — email us within 12 hours of placing your order. Once it's shipped, you'll need to return it.
Q: What if I lose the original packaging?
You can still return the item, but we may issue a partial refund. Email us first to discuss.
Q: Do gift cards have a return policy?
Gift cards are non-refundable but never expire.
