What Counts as "Lost or Broken"

Pretty much anything:

  • Lost at a music festival, ski resort, beach, lake, bar, or anywhere
  • Stolen from your car, hotel room, or beach towel
  • Sat on, run over, or dropped from a moving vehicle
  • Crushed in a backpack
  • Lens scratched beyond use
  • Frame snapped
  • Eaten by a pet
  • Friend "borrowed" them and ghosted
  • You just don't know what happened (it's okay, we believe you)

If it's a manufacturing defect (frame breaks at hinge, lens delaminates, etc.), that's covered under our Lifetime Defect Warranty — those are FREE replacements.


The Fine Print

To keep this program sustainable for everyone, here are the rules:

  • Must be a previous Shred Shades customer (we verify by your original order email)
  • Must order replacement from the same email as your original purchase
  • One replacement code per claim
  • Replacement code expires 30 days from issue
  • Cannot be combined with other discount codes (no stacking)
  • Limited to 2 replacement claims per customer per year
  • Claims must be submitted via email — not phone or chat
  • We reserve the right to refuse claims that show patterns of abuse
